Meet the Team
President and Founder
Leo Cohen
Leo is a 30+ year veteran of the software industry. He earned an Electrical Engineering degree from University of Florida and spent 15 years as Chief Architect, VP and a Fellow at Symantec Corp. After retiring in 2007, his greatest joy came from watching and playing basketball with his three sons. This sparked many conversations on how to measure the effectiveness of players in a team oriented game. HoopsIQ was developed to further this effort and provide a unique and innovative tool for coaches to gain better insight into how players impact a team's performance.
Co-Founder and Software Developer
Michael Cohen
Michael was a 4 year starting point guard and 1,000 point scorer at Pomona College in Claremont, CA. He graduated with a BA in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics. Now, a senior software developer at a Silicon Valley startup, Michael’s love of basketball and passion for programming is integral to the continued development of HoopsIQ.

Daniel Cohen
Daniel graduated with a double major in Mathematics and Computer Science from Wesleyan University. As the captain and point guard of his high school varsity team all 4 years, Daniel's leadership and high basketball IQ helped his team win a CIF championship in California. Now, a software developer for a global technology consultancy, Daniel helps bring new, innovative ideas to HoopsIQ.
Co-Founder and Operations Manager
Jordan Cohen
Jordan is a professional basketball player in the Israeli Basketball Premier League. Jordan was a 1,000+ point scorer at Lehigh University, team captain as a junior and senior in addition to the team leader in scoring and assists his senior year. Jordan leads HoopsIQ operations out of Israel which is key to HoopsIQ 24/7 quick film breakdown turnaround times.
